The M88, more commonly known as "Afghanka" was a uniform used by the soviet army in the 1980's and 90's. It is famous for being the standard uniform used by soviet troops in the Soviet-Afghan War from 1979 to 1989.

For sale is an M88 Afghanka uniform from the Soviet Union from their invasion of Afghanistan. I have owned this for many years and it is very nice and comfortable. However, I have outgrown it. I am now looking to sell this so I can buy a larger sized one.

The M88 Afghanka is, by far, the most advance field uniform ever designed in the Soviet Union. While it might sound obvious, given that it was the last one, Soviet equipment has its ups and downs, like pre-WW2 and post-WW2 webbings.
